Copper River Photos (Zymoetz) - Flooding above Rapids and Trees Killed

The obstruction of the Copper (Zymoetz) River in 2002, caused this flooding directly upstream. The rapids (downstream) begin at the left of this photo, taken on July 4, 2004. The trees in the water have been permanently deprived of oxygen and have died. Photo © Elaine Fleischmann.
