These photos were taken indoors on February 8, 2003. This particular tulip is Triumph Tulip called "Gavota" Six of them have adequately filled a 10 inch (diameter) pot. Successive plantings can produce containers of indoor bloom for the rest of the cold months.
Indoor Fragrance
"Gavota" tulips are fragrant, but many tulips are not. Try forcing hyacinths for fragrance. The Paperwhite Narcissus forces very quickly and easily, but its fragrance is not appealing to everyone.
